''In 2010, when world recovery is expected to begin, buyers will return to the market en masse. They will find an acute shortage of supply while developers have nothing in the pipeline to relieve the situation. Starts in 2010 will, at best, reach the market by 2012. In the meantime as demand outstrips supply, prices will rise.

For now, unlike anywhere else in the world, property owners who sit tight in Poland can expect to reap significant rewards over the next five years''

Szczecin is the third largest city in Poland in terms of area and the seventh largest in terms of population. That said, the city and the surrounding regions have historically not seen the same level of interest in the property market as with other better known areas of Poland. Things are now changing rapidly with a major boost coming from local elections in 2008 following which the new authorities made it a priority to raise the profile of Szczecin. This is leading to a major improvement of Szczecin with opportunites inevitably arising for outside investors, developers and prospective joint venture partners.

Anglo Ventures are well placed to effect introductions to local parties to facililtate sourcing and acquisition of commercial property as well as to negotiate joint venture arrangements for overseas interests. We are also happy to liaise as necessary with lawyers, financiers , accountants and other property professionals on behalf of our clients.
